I wrote this poem a long time ago. It feels like another life - I was a young mother, struggling to hold onto myself. I moved through Bangkok invisible, through crowded shopping malls, past giant video screens, travelling on the elevated railway and in taxis back to the dark, quiet pockets of the city where people live away from the urban noise, and where nature still thrives. Herein lies the softness of family and home.
